Contacting each other? Private profiles?

I am trying to reach out to some classmates (@Sarah, @Catherine, @Terri). We used to be able to send messages in the other platform. I noticed Sarah & Catherine, your profiles are private. Don't know if that is stopping me sending them.

In the app, did you click on the three dots to the right of a member on the Member List and then choose Send Message? I don't know how to message members on a computer.
