ABOUT AMY

Amy Rosner holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology (major in Biopsychology, minor in Experimental Neuropsychology) and spent 15 years teaching college psychology classes and doing brain research, specializing in the evolution and neuroscience of visual attention and memory and developing unique classes in the psychology of art and creativity. She has published research in the peer-reviewed journals Behavioural Brain Research, Perception and Psychophysics, and Psychopharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics.

An expert in mind-body relationships, Amy combines hypnosis, guided imagery, neurolinguistic programming (NLP), and primal health and life coaching techniques to help people reprogram physical and emotional discomfort and limiting beliefs, increase relaxation and clarity of thought, and live more mindfully and creatively. Together with her emphasis on evolutionary biology, she helps her clients work with their brains, not against them.

A graduate of the Hypnotherapy Academy of America, she has received the most rigorous hypnotherapy training available. The hypnosis protocols she employs have been scientifically verified by the National Institutes of Health to be effective. A Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Master Hypnotic Coach with the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners, Amy is certified in Professional Coaching, having studied with David Krueger, M.D., as well as in Primal Health Coaching and in NLP, and has taken advanced workshops with Dr. Georgia Eade and Dr. Annette Bosworth on ketogenic diets and mental and physical health, respectively. She has a private practice in east Mesa, AZ, where she offers individual sessions and classes.

An amazon.com bestselling author, Amy helps people outsmart their brains, change their life stories and create new possibilities for success.

She lives with the love of her life and two wonderful dogs near Phoenix, where she was born and raised. A lifelong artist and beach bum at heart, she paints and makes jewelry when she's not traveling the world with her honey.
